" a traditional, friendly unspoilt village" and " a safe and peaceful country environment"Battisford is one of 122 parishes in the county of Suffolk in the district of mid suffolk. It is located 4 miles south of the market town of Stowmarket and 21/2 miles west of Needham Market.
The area is mainly agricultural and the village itself boasts a play area, community centre, pub and two churches. In the 2001 census there were 180 households in Battisford with 482 residents.
